We are an organic gardening club in Polk County (Central
Florida) mainly for those in this area who want to learn to grow their
own produce in order to enjoy the benefits of local fresh seasonal veggies,
fruits, nuts & herbs or find where they can obtain it. To that end we have
joined together to begin "growing" our soil. "First you grow the soil & the
plants will come" -( author unknown.)
Local organic farmers & ranchers are joining our ranks. At our farmers
markets members can buy & sell their organic wares, thus filling a much-needed
niche for available fresh local organic produce, free range eggs, organic grass
fed beef, soap, raw milk, etc.

Anyone who wants to learn to grow (or buy) bigger, better, sweeter produce
(including these carambolas photographed in Patti's backyard the afternoon of our
first meeting), about living green, & have fun along the way--welcome!
