Vegetable Gardening
 

There will be a Vegetable Gardening Program on Saturday August 2^nd at the Polk County Extension Office in Bartow. David Shibles will discuss general vegetable gardening including in-ground, container and hydroponic methods. He will discuss insect and disease control by natural and chemical methods.

The program will not be structured totally towards organic vegetable gardening, but it is a subject he will discuss. The program will be in the form of a power point with several demonstrations – there will not be much in the way of hand-on activities due to time constraints.

Let him know if you plan to attend and he will put you on the list.
